Description of Core Product Functions & Material Properties This item is a passive auxiliary replacement part for household clothes dryers, solely designed to seal gaps on the lint filter frame and prevent lint leakage. Material Composition This product is manufactured from low-density flexible polyurethane soft foam. It is exclusively used for air sealing and is not a flame-retardant structural component for the dryer’s heating system. It has no contact with the dryer’s high-temperature heating core. During normal dryer operation, the ambient working temperature of this foam will not exceed 60°C, which is far below the ignition point of the foam material. No Responsibility for Heat Bearing & Flame Isolation High-temperature heat resistance and flame protection of the dryer are fully undertaken by the dryer’s original factory-installed components, including metal enclosures, metal lint screens and high-temperature insulating parts. Our foam seal is an external accessory operating under low-temperature conditions. The product design does not bear any flame retardant or high-temperature heat insulation functions, so the flame retardant material standards applicable to heat-resistant structural components do not apply to this product. Low Fire Risk The foam component is mounted on the cold air outlet side of the lint filter and separated from the heating element by multiple layers of metal parts.
