For optimal mounting, stock 2x bolts won't work, so you'll need to use specialized bolts like Wolf Tooth's 6mm bolts. Additionally, these rings can be mounted in either the big or small ring position on double cranksets, but the most common setup is in the big ring position for chainstay clearance.
